Welcome to "Understanding The Kurtzke Expanded Disability Scale (EDSS)" an online continuing education (CE) course in video format. This online CE program was launched on March 19, 2007 and will expire on February 28, 2009.
Getting Started
Please read through the pages listed at the left and then click on the Register Now link. Please note you must read the faculty disclosure information prior to registering.
Registering
All participants must complete the registration form to take part in this continuing education (CE) opportunity. United States physicians can earn CME credit and nurses can earn CE contact hours. All other participants will receive a certificate of completion (COC); see Getting a Certificate below.
Navigation in the Program
This CE report is a video. You will need to have Flash 8.0 or higher to view the video. If you do not have a Flash player, you can download one from Adobe.
Taking the Test
When you reach the end of the program, you will be prompted to take a brief multiple-choice test, followed by a program evaluation. There are 13 post-test questions. Your test score must be 11 or more questions answered correctly to earn CE credit. Although the evaluation is not graded, you must complete it to receive CE credit or a certificate of completion.
Getting a Certificate
When you finish both the test and evaluation, the program will display your test score. If you pass, you can print a CE certificate immediately or submit an email request to have a certificate mailed to you. All other participants will receive a certificate of completion. If you do not pass, you can review the program materials and take the test again.
